Cape Coast Venomous Vipers recorded its first victory in the Division One League when they beat Feyenoord 2-1 in their league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast on Sunday. After a goalless first half, Vipers resumed the second half strongly and scored the opener in the 47th minute through midfielder, Timothy Woode. The cheers that greeted the goal had scarcely died down when outside right, Ibrahim Quattara equalized for Feyenoord with a header from a corner kick. The game from then on became a ding-dong affair but when all things were pointing to a drawn game, Woode increased his side�s goal tally to 2-1 through a spot kick in the 80th minute. Results of other League matches were Tarkwa United drew 1-1 with Medeama, Sekondi Metro Stars pipped Winnneba Windy Professionals 1-0 with Ebusua Dwarfs crushing Sekondi Gamba All Blacks 2-0.
