Akufo-Addo Is Mismanaging The Economy; He's Turned Deaf Ears To The Plight Of Ghanaians - Yamoah Ponkoh

National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart, Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, has lambasted President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government for neglecting work on the Madina-Adenta highway which has recently claimed several lives.

According to him, President Nana Akufo-Addo is not managing this country well enough just as his predecessor, former President Mahama.

Reacting to the Adenta bridge impasse on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abi" programme on Saturday, November 10, 2018; the former Ejisu-Juaben MCE questioned the current administration on its commitment to address the concerns of the residents and commuters in the area saying "the bridge is still the same…is the bridge fixed...No?"

“There were contractors on the road until NPP assumed office and since then, they has turned a deaf ear to the people of Adenta".

He emphasized that the Akufo-Addo administration only cares about family and friends, and nothing else as they look for their interests above everyone.

Also touching on the NDC's upcoming congress which will come off this Saturday, Mr. Ponkoh declared his support for Aseidu Nketia to retain his position as General Secretary for the party and further believed Former President Dramani Mahama will emerge victor in the party's Presidential primaries.

He also cautioned the party delegates to choose wisely because the NDC's victory, come 2020, solely depends on it.

“Delegates should vote for those who can help NDC to wrest power from this super incompetent NPP government.”

He also pleaded with the supporters of Koku Anyidoho and Asiedu Nketia to be mindful of their words, as after elections "we are still NDC…these great men have one way or the other contributed immensely to our great party".
