Kwame Asare Obeng, who is also known in show business as A-Plus, a hip life artiste who takes great interest in rapping about politics and social issues, has released another hit single, �Konkonsa Radio.� The song has won the hearts of countless music lovers in the country, and features upcoming hip life artistes Dada Hafco and One Pesewa. Although the �Konkonsa� song is similar to Obrafour�s �Kasiebo�, many music fans feel A-Plus� �Konkonsa� is better than �Kasiebo�, although the beats sound the same. It is on record that Obrafour�s �Kasiebo�, which is already dying out slowly, has paved the way for �Konkonsa�, which is currently receiving massive airplay. Some radio presenters told Beatwaves that the �Konkonsa� song is good, adding that A-Plus is very creative when it comes to lyrics and beats. A number of fans who have had the opportunity to listen to the song on the radio told Beatwaves they have fallen in love with it and that in their opinion it is better than Obrafour�s �Kasiebo� which launched a heavy attack on Okyeame Kwame. The song, which was re-leased last week, is in the form of a radio newspaper review, with A-Plus as the host. In the song, One Pesewa takes on Obrafour saying his is not better than Okyeame Kwame. He describes Obrafour as a jealous rapper who could mess the industry up if not checked. He descended heavily on Obrafour saying that Okeame Kwame may not have 5 albums, but he is married with a kid unlike a rastaman who refuses to take responsibility for his twin babies. A-Plus then calls Apietus to talk about the problems he had with Charter House, and after describing the event organisers as thieves his line cuts off while the host tries to reconnect with him to no avail. The chorus is performed by KK Fosu. The song is a classic combination of mind blowing rhythms. Talk of lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation and sound quality, the song is second to none. A-Plus released an album, �Freedom of Speech 1� right before the 2000 elections in Ghana. The hit track �Mesuro Mpo Na Merekeka Yi O� talked about how he was afraid of what he was saying and doing, but he would still say it in light of democracy as he lambasted politicians. In one of his political songs he used Dr Ephraim Amu�s �Yen Ara Asase Ni� chorus. A-Plus� style in 2000 was new and a welcome addition to the hip life landscape. Other than his political songs, he also has a lot of socially conscious songs, pitting him against the likes of Sidney, Obrafour, etc. After J.A. Kufuor took over the mantle of power from J.J.
