Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), communications team, Alhaji Halidu Haruna says the level of insincere comments made by members of the New Patriotic Party [NPP] 'even surprises the devil'.

“The hypocrisy of the NPP is so monumental that the devil gets surprised listening to them” he stated.

Making reference to the 2019 budget statement read recently in Parliament, Alhaji Haruna expressed total disappointment in the NPP under President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for extending the IMF conditionality’s for two years after immensely condemning it as the worst decision former President John Dramani Mahama ever took in his tenure of administration.

“...indeed I was shocked beyond measure that NPP extended the IMF conditionality’s neither did they change any of the clauses agreed on by the NDC in respect to the IMF clause , when they heavily promised Ghanaians they will get the nation off the policy as soon as they assume office”

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, the NDC communicator also reacted to the newly elected executives of his party. He emphatically declared that the delegates elected automatically shows “ex-President John Mahama is the flagbearer of NDC and needs no contender”

Alhaji Halidu Haruna further urged the newly elected executives to monitor words spoken by each other especially to the media and various social media platforms.

“This is because I have realized some internal party members use other social media platforms to destroy and disgrace members of the party which is a very bad act we must desist from”
