I Didn't Lose Because I Support Spio-Garbrah - Alhaji Naziru Refutes Claim

NDC’s Alhaji Mohammed Naziru has denied claims that he lost the Deputy National Communications Officer position during the party’s National Executives election because of his affiliation with presidential aspirant, Dr Ekow Spio-Garbrah.

Alhaji Naziru who is the spokesperson for Spio-Garbrah’s campaign said the claims are “untrue” even though it’s ‘likely to be true.’

According to him, the NDC does not practice the ‘trokosi system’ where kids are to pay for their fathers alleged misdeeds.

“I don’t think NDC is practicing the trokosi system or the trokosi punishment system. I don’t want to believe that the NDC will be punishing people for the fathers’ mistakes. We must look beyond that as people and try to bring unity. That is the only way we can win the 2020 elections,” he said in an interview with <b<Peacefmonline.com

“I am yet to access what went wrong during the election so I can correct it for future purposes,” he added.

Alhaji Naziru lost the Deputy National Communications Officer position to Kweku Boahene and Godwin Ako Gun, the two elected National Executives..

He has however congratulated the winners and said they are capable of pushing the party’s agenda towards winning elections 2020.
