Techiman Assembly honours best staff

Mr. Adams Amoako, Deputy Coordinating Director II �B� of Techiman Municipal Assembly, has been adjudged the 2009 overall best worker of the municipal assembly at a presentation ceremony in Techiman. For his prize, he went home with a 21-inch television set, GHC 150 and a certificate of merit. The best and hardest working assembly member award went to Mr. James Kwabena Osei of Forikrom electoral area and he received GHC 100 and a certificate of merit. The first placed award winners received GHC 150 and a certificate of merit each. They were Mr. Richard Ansah, best technical engineer, Madam Grace Oppong, best revenue inspector, Mr Ali Sena, best environmental health officer, Madam Theresah Yeboah, best day care attendant and Mr. Iddrisu Mahama, best worker on planning section of the assembly. Others were Mr. Michael Konlan, best accountant, Mr. Adams Alhassan, best executive officer, while the best city guard prize went to Sergeant Joseph Effie Ankomah. The second placed workers who received GHC 100 and certificates included Mr. Godwin Osei, administrator, Madam Elizabeth Takyiwaa, Day Care, Nana Akwasi Adonteng Ojuku, assistant technical engineer, Madam Regina Takyiwaa, grade two typist, Mr. Abdul Karim, environmental health service and Mr. Isaac Kyeremeh, revenue officer. Mr. Muniru Mohammed was adjudged the best driver of the assembly and took away GHC 70 and certificate whilst some other deserving workers also took away GHC 70 each. Presenting the prizes, Mr. Alex Kyeremeh, Municipal Chief Executive, urged the beneficiaries to work harder than before and urged other staff to emulate them.
