Kwesi Pratt Gives The 'True' Meaning of Rawlings' Short Speech

“I have only one sentence message . . . I can imagine how we would wish for the spirit of the old days . . . is it possible to bring it back? That can only happen if we cultivate the habit of listening to ourselves. I want to make an appeal that we listen to ourselves” was what former President and founder of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) told delegates at the recently held 9th National Delegates Congress of the party.

While many have described his speech as the shortest ever, others especially within the NDC are struggling to find meaning to what he said.

But speaking on Radio Gold's Alhaji and Alhaji, Saturday, Kwesi Pratt suggested that the NDC should stop trying to find meaning to what the former President said. According to him, the party should not give that much importance to him because he always says bad things about them.
