Frank Rajah Arase, the director of most of Venus Films� movies, has described as �foolish and stupid� an alleged fracas between him and new actress Brenda Osei Bonsu. The two, according to signals picked by NEWS-ONE, are on a war path. This was after Frank stripped Brenda off a role she was playing in Venus� movie �Material Girls� and gave it to fellow actress Suraya Mensah. The reason, unconfirmed sources alleged, has some romantic undertones. According to a source, Frank made advances at Brenda but the pretty actress turned them down, following which he decided to take the role from her in the middle of shooting �Material Girls�. But Frank has denied this flatly. He said as a director, it would be silly for him to do that. �That will be foolish, and childish. It is the most stupid thing anybody can do on the face of this world. If I want to go out with somebody and she didn�t allow me, then I take her off the set because of that? That means I am exposing myself.� He said while they were shooting that movie, Brenda showed an attitude he Frank didn�t find friendly, following which he decided to take her off. �She wants to probably believe that because she is a friend of Abdul Salam, she�s got the mouth to talk but I had to ask her to leave the set. I told the production that I am done with her.� According to him, the actress has never been his friend as it is being alleged.
