Falling in love at first sight is one of those things you either believe in or don't. And Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay does not believe in it.
She made this known on Saturday, December 15 when she appeared as a guest on the re-launched TV music show, Music Music on TV3.
Wendy Shay who is not new to controversies was on Music Music as part of her 'tour' on shows to promote her upcoming concert, Shay Concert which comes off at La Pleasure Beach on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
The concert will feature Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Medikal, Praye, and Dope Nation.
After her performance, Saturday, she was asked among other questions if she believed in love at first sight by the host of the show, Nana Kwame and she answered in the negative.
"No, I do not believe in love at first sight. I think love should be a process, it should grow", said Wendy Shay.
One would not be wrong to say that Wendy Shay, real name Wendy Addo who released six singles this year is currently the hottest female brand in the Ghanaian music industry.
With songs like Uber Driver, Bedroom Commando and recently Astalavista doing the magic for her, Wendy Shay says she sees herself winning Grammys in the next five years.
According to her in a previous interview with Graphic Showbiz, she said the sky is her limit and with the great team she has, she is very positive that she will achieve great results in no time.
“It feels good to work with a record label which understands you and knows your direction. When both parties understand each other, attaining your goals is very quick and easy,” she said.
Although the free spirited and energetic songstress’ used to sing and dance in church and family events, her real music journey began a decade after she lost beloved father to death.
She enrolled in a music school in Bernhausen, Germany and during the four-year course, Wendy Shay started to identify her passion and began to pay more attention to her new found love, music.
