Use Christmas To Unite And Forgive One Another - Dr Lawrence Tetteh

Evangelist Dr Lawrence Tetteh, the Founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, has underscored the need for Ghanaians to reflect on the goodness of God and live in unity and forgive one another during this Christmas.

The renowned international evangelist said Jesus Christ came to the world to reconcile humanity to God, therefore "we should reflect on such bountiful love and forgive those who had offended us in the course of the year and co-exist peacefully".

Dr Tetteh, also an Honorary Canon of the Anglican Church, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Monday.

He said as a nation, we should use the Yuletide to thank God and pray for God's continued blessings and prosperity.

Dr Tetteh noted that Christmas was the time to show love and reconciliation and not for undermining others and asked for God's wisdom for the political leadership of the nation as well as peace and harmony for the citizens.

Meanwhile, Apostle Dr Peter Wilson, the African Director of the Living Faith Theological Seminary, has asked Christians to celebrate Christmas in moderation, devoid of drinking and living reckless lifestyle.

He asked motorists to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol to prevent motor accidents.
