Member of parliament for Awutu Senya East constituency, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson threw a party for widows and the aged likewise both young and old to mark the new year at her residence in Kasoa.

The event attracted all and sundry from all the electoral areas within kasoa environs to mark the New Year.

Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson, affectionately called Obaatanpa, gave away items worth millions of Ghana cedis as a way of showing love to these women, the aged and thanking God for the new year.

Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson, also the Minister for Special Development Initiatives urged the township to be each other’s keeper for the sake of love and peace among one another.

People from all walks within Awutu-Senya East Constituency who attended the program were full of praises for Hon/Minister Mavis Hawa Koomson for her kind heart and love for everyone regardless the person’s political affiliations.
