GWCL Engineer Shot To Death By Suspected Armed Robbers
An Engineer working with the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWC) met his untimely death on New Year's eve when he was shot and killed by armed robbers at Langbinsi, in the East Mamprusi Municipality in the Northern Region.
The deceased whose name was given by the police as Joseph Migal Jinjer was travelling with some members of his family to Bunkpurugu to celebrate the New Year when the incident occurred.
The rest of the family members survived the attack but Jinjer could not make it.
The deceased who is said to be the Distribution Manager of the GWCL for Accra East and West was also the Chairman of the Bimoba Youth Association in the Greater Accra Region.
The police said they have launched a manhunt for the suspected robbers to bring then to book.
