The National Women Organiser of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hanna Bissiw has denied claims that she invested in troubled gold dealership company, Menzgold as purported.

According to her, she will not fall so easily to such scam by “an associate of President Nana Addo” who has defrauded thousands of Ghanaians.

Menzgold Ghana has shutdown since September 2018 and a bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of all Directors of the company for failure to refund client’s monies.

The CEO of the company, Nana Appiah Mensah, who is popularly known as NAM1 fled the country before a warrant for his arrest was issued.

A list of alleged frustrated customers of Menzgold circulating on social media mentioned top politicians in the country which includes Dr. Louisa Hanna Bissiw.

But Hannah Bissiw has stated emphatically that she did no business with the gold dealership company after accusing the ruling NPP of being in bed with Menzgold's CEO’.

She stated that “A big management member at TV3 spoke to me about Menzgold but I was not interested. The person told me the relationship the CEO of Menzgold had with Nana Addo and other bigwigs in the NPP.”

“I told the person bluntly that my money has no time for 419 business,” she said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
