“We’re On Track”- Lawyer Duah Adonteng

Mr. Kofi Duah Adonteng, a member of the Normalisation Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has said, his outfit, is on track to execute its mandate.

In an interview with the GNA Sports, after the inauguration of the ad hoc committee, Mr. Adonteng said, his team was on course to reform Ghana Football, after the recent expose by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The Normalisation Committee, was given six month to complete its job and its expected to expire on March 31, 2019. They were to run the day to day administration of the GFA, reform the statutes and organise elections for the Association.

“We are on course and with the deadline, we are very much aware of the task. It is a gradual process. In the course of duty, we encounter lots of challenges on the way, but we are never disturbed. We are on course to reach our target,” he said.

On his part, the ad-hoc committee inaugurated to assist the Normalisation to attain its mandate, were members with rich experience and competence, who would bring their expertise to bear to help reform Ghana football.

Mr. Adonteng mentioned that, though the job given them, comes with a lot of pressure, the team was prepared for the challenges, it comes with.

“Members of the ad-hoc committee comprises experienced members and I believe they would assist us to achieve our mandate. The pressure this job comes with we can’t finish it alone that was why we have asked them to assist us. With their diverse experience and competence that they will bring on board I believe we will reach there.

“This job comes with pressure given the crises in football. To me, I always say this is like a war to us and we must prepare ourselves to be under pressure to win.”
