The founder of the Oblogo-based Hope Generation Ministry, Prophet Eric Akwasi Amponsah alias Computerman, has accused Prophet Nana Kofi Yirenkyi alias One Touch, the head pastor of Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry, also at Oblogo in Accra; of attempting to lure his newly engaged wife, Juliet Maa Akua, with romantic words on phone. Another accusation the former makes of the latter is the threat of murder. The Prophetic Ministry overseer, with equal zeal and annoyance, has denied and counter-accused the Hope Generation Ministry Leader of hating him and scheming to destroy him. According to a source at the CID at the Police Headquarters, the wife of Minister Amponsah is the niece of Nana Kofi Yirenkyi, alias One Touch and he played a yeoman�s role when Maa Akua was being given in marriage to him at Madina four months ago. Just after the engagement ceremony, One Touch began petting Akua on phone on a daily basis, promising her a house, a car and an unspecified among of money, if she would dog Eric Amponsah who �does not deserve to have a beautiful lady of your caliber,� Prophet Amponsah had reported to the police. These alleged renditions of promises and sugar-coated words on phone, sometimes at ungodly hours, were recorded by Maa Akua who showed them to her husband. One Touch, n sensing the danger that his ungodly overtures to a colleague pastor�s wife were about to exposed, threatened to kill his �rival�, the Computerman. The latter got wind and rushed to the police CID to lodge a complaint, whereupon Prophet Yirenkyi was arrested last Friday, it was learnt. In an interview with Nana Kofi Yirenkyi at his church auditorium at the Oblogo last Sunday, he denied to The Heritage all the allegations leveled against him by the couple, counter-alleging that it was a plot to destroy his hard-earned reputation. Asked why his voice could be recorded on the tape if he had not been talking to the married woman, he contended that �in this technological world voices can be pitched to sound like someone�s voice.� One particular thing the prophet is accused of is that he asked her what kind of underpants she wore �can you say something to me, my American Lady?� she is accused of adding. When this was put to him, One Touch did not answer directly. Rather, what he said was that his niece had told him how her husband was refusing to take her to his matrimonial home. And how this and other frustrations had made her determined to commit suicide, where-upon he undertook to counsel her to refrain from doing the unthinkable. He said he made some �utterances� but �Juliet is never my girlfriend. �How can I make love to my niece?�, he quipped, sobbing. He said he�d rather he talked to no pressman, because he was in �a 21-day fasting to ascertain the fact.� He asserted that God Almighty will reveal the truth after his stipulated time of fasting. He accused Computerman of envying him. According to the head of Jesus Christ Prophetic Ministry, he had known Computerman is already married and so, if he had earlier heard of his relationship with his niece, he wouldn�t have endorsed the marriage. He added, his niece was pregnant at the time of the engagement. Out Touch who was accosted last Friday is on bail and reported himself yesterday.
