Don't Buy NDC's Propaganda; Ongoing Projects At Ayawaso West Wougon Not Due To The Bye-Election - Ursula Owusu

Communications Minister and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has refuted claims that the NPP is undertaking projects at Ayawaso West Wougon to buy the votes of electorates ahead of the bye-election tomorrow, January 31, 2019.

According to Madam Ekuful, the allegation is mere fabrication and falsehood aimed to make the NPP unpopular in the eyes of constituents of Ayawaso West Wougon and Ghanaians in general.

“All projects being undertaken were among projects in the offing and they were going to be executed by government anyways. Therefore the allegations should be treated as one of the NDC’s propaganda strategies.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" programme, she admonished the NDC to desist from cheap politics.

"The renovation and construction works on the roads and other infrastructure within the constituency may be a mere coincidence and that, if the late Hon. Kyeremanten-Agyarko had been alive today, the constituency would have witnessed such renovations. So, I don’t see anything wrong with the ongoing project going in the constituency" she further stated.

She also urged the electorates to boldly step out tomorrow to exercise their civic right and massively cast their votes for Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan, wife of the late MP for the constituency.
