The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a press conference has described the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as 'cowards' for chickening out of the ongoing bye election in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency with the excuse of being attacked.
Buabeng Asamoah, the party's Director of Communication leading the confab queried how the NDC is "going to face their people having abandoned them with cowardice…the NDC has behaved cowardly...they appeared not to have prepared for the election…they were incompetent in government and they remain incompetent in opposition"
