Music Is The Future of Ghana - Kontihene

Highlife music icon, Kontihene has implored the Government of Ghana to incorporate music in the course of study in schools.

In an interview on Neat FM's 'Entertainment Ghana', Kontihene noted that music is a therapy and a food for the soul.

Diagnosing the problems of Ghana for which the country is underdeveloped, the musician said it is because the nation doesn't embrace new ideas.

“We’re not innovative. We don’t want to accept new and advanced things…"

According to him, "if you want to see the future of any country or any generation, check their music . . . Music is a soul food. The changes we need is to teach music in school because music is a stress therapy. Music is something that can uplift the soul."
