The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has urged that all politicians should be treated equally, no matter their political affiliations. According to the outspoken veteran journalist, all politicians needed to be given equal treatment for their words. Speaking on Peace FMs flagship program, �Kokrokoo�, he attributed his argument to the recent comments made by Hon. Isaac Asiamah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima-Mponua in the Central Region. He told Peace FM that he was surprised at the manner in which his recent remarks about the President received low consideration in the media and among various political parties, including opinion leaders. He compared his statement to that of the recently elected NDC propaganda secretary, Richard Quashigah, who received such bashing and condemnation from various circles. Hon. Isaac Asiamah asked Ghanaians to blame President Mills should the Black Stars fail to win the African Cup in Angola. He contended that the president�s recent reshuffling of the Sports Minister, Rashid Pelpuo, to be replaced by Akua Sena Dansoaa was not made at the right time. As such, should the senior national team fail to win the tournament, the President should be blamed. Mr. Pratt viewed this statement by the MP as carrying the same motive as that of Richard Quashigah�s. The NDC propaganda secretary made an assertion that the NPP was to be blamed for a false earthquake hoax that woke up thousands of Ghanaians witnessed some weeks back. He said the detractors of the ruling NDC party had probably circulated the message through text messages via phone, apparently intended to take off the peaceful congress the NDC witnessed in Tamale, off the minds of Ghanaians. The member of the Committee for Joint Action (CJA), Mr. Kwesi Pratt, argued that these statements made by the two party leaders should have been treated equally and given the same attention. He told Kwame Sefa-Kayi, host of �Kokrokoo�, that Ghanaians should desist from partiality based on of the political affiliation of a particular person, and ensure that issues were handled on fair terms. He made his feelings known during a panel discussion on Peace FM�s morning show �kokrokoo�.
