Prez Akufo-Addo Is Committed To Rule Of Law - Kamal Deen Abdul

A Deputy Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal Deen Abdul has lambasted the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for refusing to appreciate the good works of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Mr. Kamal Deen Abdul told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the President has been making great efforts in ensuring there is stability in the country.

He was commenting on the recent violent attacks on some electorates during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election which saw about eight people sustaining injuries from a shooting incident at one of the polling stations at La-Bawaleshie

Mr. Deen Abdul debunked claims that the President has turned a blind eye to the incident and not concerned about the victims of the by-election violence.

According to him, the President and his government uphold the country's rule of law and therefore have taken the necessary steps in investigating the incident.

He cited the President's intent to set up a Commission of Inquiry to look into the issue as a major step to resolving the issue.

Kamal Deen Abdul believed Ghanaians are fully aware of the good governance of the Akufo-Addo government and will not be deceived by the opposition NDC.

“Clearly, everybody knows the person who wants Ghana to move forward. Everybody also knows the person who doesn’t seek the progress of Ghana. We’re committed to the rule of law,” he said.
