STATEMENT: Sunyani West Constituency Urge Interested Parliamentary Candidates To Exercise Restrain
The attention of constituency executive has been brought to clandestine moves by some people to seek endorsement by polling stations executives for next parliamentary primaries to contest on the ticket of NPP.
In as much as the constituency executive shall not impede anyone from contesting in the primaries, the constituency shall same resist any attempt by anyone to flout the rules by national executive council regarding contesting for 2020 parliamentary elections.
Therefore, all polling station executives as well electoral area coordinators to seek approval from the constituency executive if anyone has been granted permission to meet prospective delegates to seek their votes... we say so because our general secretary has issued a statement to that effect and, we cannot disregard such admonition from our general secretary on behalf of national council.
We also want to inform all prospective aspirants to adhere strictly to the rules issued by our general secretary or face full rigors of the party.
for now, let's all focus on ensuring our 2016 manifesto and promises are met leading to maintaining power in 2020 general elections.
