#NDCdecides: Money Galore As Delegates Get 'Rewarded' After Voting (PHOTOS)

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are voting in an election to choose who will lead them in the 2020 elections.

Reports gathered by some of our correspondents in some constituencies indicate that delegates are being rewarded after casting their vote.

According to reports received so far, delegates in Kpone Katamanso, Suhum, Asutifi South and Nkwanta South can be seen going to an enclosed place or a designated table to collect 'transportation' money allegedly donated by former President John Mahama.

Confusion ensued in the Suhum constituency because some of the delegates did not understand why some were given GHC20 and others GHC10.

Explaining why this arrangement, Peace FM's reporter at the Suhum constituency, Godfred Asare aka Old Soldier says the executives decided to use part of the money to hire buses to transport some the delegates who are at remote villages or towns where there is difficulty with transportation.

He said calm has been restored in the constituency after a small misunderstanding ensued.

Over 260,000 delegates nationwide are choosing between seven contestants: Mr. Goosie Tanoh, a businessman, Former President John Dramani Mahama, Professor Joshua Alabi, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies and Mr. Alban Sumanu Bagbin, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

The rest are; Mr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, a Former Minister of Education and Trade, Mr. Sylvester Mensah, a former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority and Alhaji Nurudeen Iddrisu, a businessman.

Voting is currently going on smoothly.
