“Supporters Must Have Confidence In The Playing Body” - Kim Grant

Kim Grant, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, has urged the supporters of the club, to rally behind the team and start believing in the players to win more laurels.

Coach Grant said this after his team defeated Dreams FC 2-1 to lift the first edition of the ST Nettey Memorial Cup last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Coach Grant said he was making sure that the boys were together, believe in themselves and work hard towards greatness.

According to the coach, there were quality players in the team and what was needed was for the players to be constructive in everything they do and also to be positive on the field of play.

Coach Grant said, everybody in the club including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), was looking to the future and that he would do his best to put a winning mentality into them.

Coach Grant said, he was disappointed by the referee's decision to award such penalty to Dreams FC, but added that he was happy that they were able to win the game.

Striker Joseph Esso’s brace saw the Phobians win their first trophy in 2019 and coach Grant first as a coach of the club.
