Ignore Media Houses Boycott Statement - Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has debunked news making rounds on social media that they have boycotted programmes at some selected media houses.

According to him, the statement is fake and therefore must be considered as one of the NPP's diabolic agenda.

"The diabolic agenda of NPP will not hold," he stressed.

A statement purported to be released and signed by the NDC's Communications Officer, Sammy Gyemfi instructing NDC's communication team members said that "inform all members of the NDC communication team to stop attending to the following media houses to communicate and propagate the idealogy and believe of our dear party.

(1)Peace fm
(2)Adom tv
(3)Citi tv
(4)Okay fm
(5)Angel tv
(6)Kasapa fm
(7)Asempa fm
(8)Obuoba fm

Reacting to the letter on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he maintained that the media is their friend and there is no way NDC can boycott their programmes.

"I am saying it emphatically that the statement is fake therefore must not be taken serious . . . the media is our friend and we will continue to work with you," he stressed.
