NDC Plotting To Attack Me With Acid – Titus Glover

Deputy Minister of Transport, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has said he has uncovered an assassination plot on his life. He claimed some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region have threatened to attack him by pour ing acid on him.

Mr Titus-Glover who is also the Member of Parliament for Tema East constituency revealed this while discussing the alleged leaked audio of NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

The NDC Chairman in the said leaked audio allegedly gave his blessings to his party’s communicators to verbally attack National Peace Council chairman, Professor Emmanuel Asante. He is also said to have charged them to take the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensah, to the cleaners and also intimidate members of the NPP.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo’s alleged comments have received widespread condemnations. The comments have also led to the police serving him with an invite.

Commenting on the issues on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Monday, Mr Titus-Glover said some NDC members were already implementing the diabolic strategy of the NDC Chairman.

He disclosed that some NDC boys in the Suame constituency in the Ashanti region have threatened to pour the corrosive substance on his face and entire body.

“On 18th January, 2019 some NDC boys threatened to pour acid on me. I have done nothing wrong so I’m still at a loss,” he bemoaned.

As an immediate measure, Mr Glover said he has reported the matter to the police and has beefed up his personnel security.

“I know the names of the NDC boys threatening me and I have given it to the police” he opined.
