Strange: Villagers Cant Ease Themselves

A very strange disease which is making it very difficult for people to ease themselves has struck Agyapongkrom, a farming community in the Asunafo South District of the Brong Ahafo region. Mr Kinsley Arthur, District Disease Control Officer has confirmed the outbreak of the disease, which affects mostly children between the ages of six and ten years. The disease starts off as skin rashes and quickly spreads to the anus making it very difficult for victims to ease themselves without severe pains. Sources close to the village say the disease broke out about six weeks ago. It has spread rapidly and also attacked older persons. It is estimated that about 90 per cent of children in the village have been hit. Health personnel who were rushed to the village have not been able to contain the situation. An earlier report riled by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) quoted Opanin Adu Mensah, an elder of the village appealing to the Ghana Health Service to come to their aid. Some of the affected people claim that the skin rashes itch badly.
