We Won’t Allow Only NPP and NDC Meet On Vigilante Disbandment – PNC National Organizer

National Organizer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Mr. Desmond Twumasi Ntow has said other political parties apart from the NDC and NPP cannot sit aloof and watch the two biggest parties discuss the President’s call to disband vigilante groups.

He said they are unaware of what goes on in our party circles, therefore the meeting cannot be held under their decisions alone when we are also stakeholders of the call.

“We won’t allow the NDC and NPP alone meet . . . when they are unaware of what goes on within our party. All political parties in the country and civil societies must be part of the meeting,” he said.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo did not mean his words to disband vigilante groups especially when he wants to involve only the two leading political parties, excluding the others.

Twumasi Ntow on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma programme mentioned that Manasseh Azure’s pro-NPP militia training undercover investigation is NPP’s plan towards the 2020 elections.

“NPP is preparing towards 2020 national elections, therefore the militia training group to train party boys before the upcoming day, with full government support and backing,” he said.
