Deborah Vanessa has called on Ghanaians to relax and wait for the current government to fix the messes they inherited from their predecessors.

According to Sister Derby, ‘Rome was not built in a day’ and therefore Ghanaians must have patience for the new government to work its magic in regards to how things are in the country.

Derby was speaking on Accra Fm, where she had an in-depth interview Wednesday.

“The truth is that you can’t expect the government to solve all the problems so soon, so we have to give them time,” she said.

“It’s not fair and also they came to meet issues, they are also humans like us, so, it is difficult. We just have to give them time.”

Derby said she’s well aware that things aren’t going so well, especially in regards to the cedi exchange rate.

“I am affected because recently we travelled to South Africa together, buying the dollar to go is a headache. I wanted to cry. It is very bad. I don’t know what’s happening. The cedi is in serious crisis. I read something on the internet that in the whole of Africa, the Ghana cedi is the weakest and this is not good for the Black Star of Africa, it’s sad.” she said.

The ‘Ghana Jollof’ hitmaker also spoke about what ended her relationship with Medikal and why Ghanaians should leave her alone to expose her body if she chooses.
