Abronye Declares Operation 12-Nil For NPP In Election 2020

Even before the newly-created regions find their levels by way of settling down, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is targeting 12 parliamentary seats in the Bono Region in the 2020 election.

Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye, who is leading the crusade to annex the seats said it was important to win the seats and send a message to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) whose executives mostly hail from the region.

He named Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary; Sammy Gyamfi, Communications Officer; and Yaw Boateng Gyan as bigwigs of the NDC who hail from the region.

“They told me it was impossible to win 20 seats in 2016 but at the end, I made it possible. I believe I am the best person who can face them squarely and I’m ready for them,” he bragged.

“We are taking over all the seats in that part of the country with my operation 12-nil strategy,” he added.

Meanwhile, an aspiring Regional Secretary for the newly created Bono East,  David Boakye who endorsed Abronye’s strategy said he was contesting the position to add three more seats to the existing five to make it eight.

“When I’m elected as the scribe for the region on May 4, I will make the party a household name in the Bono East,” he stated.
