We Are All Behind John Terry - Chelsea Manager

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has declared the entire Stamford Bridge dressing room is behind disgraced captain John Terry, despite recent revelations about his personal life. Their talismanic centre-back was sensationally sacked as England captain, following allegations of his affair with an ex-girlfriend of former team-mate Wayne Bridge. While Rio Ferdinand is preparing to take over the armband from Terry, Ancelotti has insisted that his man remained professional throughout the troubled period. Ancelotti told the Press Association Sport: John [Terry] speaks with his team-mates because hes the captain of this team [Chelsea]. He is focusing on his job. Hes doing very well every day, every moment. Hes the captain of this team so, with his behaviour, hes doing his best for this team. Ancelotti added that the controversy surrounding the 29-year-old's off-field antics did not concern him, nor the club, as their focus remains on closing in on the Premier League title. Im not interested in the private lives of the players," Ancelotti added. "In the past some coaches phoned home to control their players, but I never did this in my career and I won't in the future. Im only interested in the players at the training ground and to control behaviour at the training ground. Private lives are an important thing - they should remain private." Terry is set to lead the Blues out on Sunday for their blockbuster meeting with high-flying London rivals Arsenal.
