Be Mindful of Your ‘Body Language’ – Dr. Bossman Advised

The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr has ‘appealed’ to Dr. Bossman Asare, Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) to be mindful of his ‘body language’.

This follows an exchange between him and the Director of elections of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Elvis Afriyie Ankrah. Click to read

This follows an alert raised by the NDC after the EC issued a communique stating that a decision has been reached for a new voters' register to  be compiled following an IPAC meeting; something the ‘umbrella’ party said wasn't the case.

Discussing this during a panel discussion on Joy Newsfile programme, Saturday, Kweku Baako said:

“I am appealing to the Deputy Chairperson of this Commission to perhaps watch his body language, mode of communication, choice of words where and when and how he goes about it . . . the law is on his side when he talks of something not being binding on the Commission relating to the exercise of its mandate . . . but if we go through the history . .  . without IPAC, the corporation of the political parties, civil society involvement, I am not sure this country will be where it is today”.
