EMT Members Are ‘Too Old And Outmoded’; We Need Fresh Blood To Manage Our Economy - Vanderpuye

NDC Member of Parliament [MP] for the Odododiodoo constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has described members of the New Patriotic Party [NPP] as 'hypocrites' and 'liars'.

The Odododiodoo MP disclosed that members of the NPP can no longer distinguish between truth and lies, because they have now become a part of them since they use it on daily basis.

Discussing issues raised at the town hall meeting by the Economic Management Team yesterday, Nii Lante Vanderpuye mainly on the recent power outages disclosed on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme that the EMT officials conflicted themselves in answering questions asked them on the field because they have decided never to speak the truth on what exactly the problem is about.

“ . . It is sad and a disgrace to this country that members of the ruling government have welcomed hypocrisy as smearing cream they use every day after bathing and on top use dressing-power just like they tell lies to every issue they need to explain to citizens,” he said.

Descending on the eight individuals who form the Economic Management Team (EMT), the former Sports Minister in former President Mahama’s administration described them as individuals who need to be change for the vibrant youth to take over the economic affairs of the state.

“Members who form the EMT are too old and outmoded for such position because they don’t know the time and seasons of the current world. We need fresh and vibrant blood to manage our economic affairs,” he said.
