The National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye a.k.a Nana B has stated that the advisers of the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has done him great harm by advising him to resort to court instead of asking him to apologized.

According to him, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo is a respectable leader in his church and a political stalwart thus a lot of people look up to him as their mentor in the society.

"What he said was wrong and it is not too late for him to apologize to allow sleeping dogs lie", he stated.

Speaking on Okay FM's Ade Akye Abia Programme he reiterated that Ofosu Ampofo's case could have been avoided if only he had apologized in the first place when the issue came up.

Nana B maintained that the lawyers of Mr. Ampofo are doing him a great harm as they have been inconsistent in their efforts to prove his innocence; thus "they first denied knowledge of the tape and they later admitted but say somebody implanted recorder in their office making the leaked tape distorted but the question we have been asking is, is the voice the same as Mr. Ofosu Ampofo's?" he quizzed.

The affable NPP National Youth Organiser advised the NDC Chairman to apologize as everybody is gullible to make mistakes as human beings.

"Listening to their communicators you can see there are some inconsistencies in their communications...It is not too late for him to accept his mistake and apologize because the leaked tape is the voice of Mr. Ampofo and there is no two ways about that. 

‘’In the past, Sir John And Sammy Awuku were charged for contept and they apologized. That is the way to go. But not to adopt a demeanor that makes it look like you are not remorseful or have no regrets,’’ he stressed.
