Heart of Lions have appointed Mehmet Tayfun as the club's technical director after a chequered campaign in the Glo Premier League. The Turk's contract with the Kpando-based side will expire at the end of the season.Mehmet is making a return to the Ghanaian Premier League after a short stint with Wa All Stars two seasons ago. Lions won the Top 4 competition last year but have been far from convincing this term.The club's Chief Executive Desmond Boateng reckons the capture of the Tayfun will turn things round. "This is not the frist time that he will be will be working here in Ghana and so we believe he knows the Ghanaian terrain very well and will help our technical bench to bring back our form," he said. "He was at our last home match at Kpando and he identified some few problems and hopefully we will be meeting this week to try and trash issues out."
