Henry Nana Boakye, National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Mr Sammy Gyamfi has reunited in friendship after a near brawl that split the two apart during a radio interview at an Accra based radio station.
The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC),Sammy Gyamfi, was assaulted during a panel broadcast by Henry Nana Boakye (aka Nana B) for calling NPP panelists stupid on Accra-based Asempa FM.
But Nana B has since apologized to the listeners of Asempa FM and Ghanaians for the manner in which he responded to the issue.
The two took the opportunity during the birthday of Omanhene Kwabena Asante, host of Adom TV’s morning show where they were both invited to Asempa FM studios to celebrate his day with him.
It was at that moment that Nana B met his brother Sammy Gyamfi and gave him a hug to rekindle their friendship.
In a video which has gone viral Nana B was heard saying “I want a hug from my brother Sammy…Sammy Gyamfi who was also ready to smoke the peace talk also hug Nana B in return.
Mr. Allotey Jacobs who was also in the studio admonishing the two added that “Nana B this is what politics is all about…not to be fighting one another…politics should unite us because Ghana should be first in all that we do.”
