NPP’s Performance Will Make Election 2020 Impossible For NDC – Nana B

The National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has stated that 2020 general election will be very difficult for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) considering  President Nana Addo Dnaquah Akufo Addo’s performance.

According to him, NPP administration led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has performed far better than the NDC’s regime, making the NDC’s comeback very difficult.

Speaking on Accra Base Asempa radio, he reiterated that election 2020 has just begun and that it will be based on performance taking into consideration sector by sector.

Nana B maintained NPP has fulfilled a large portion of its promises to Ghanaians, and that the government is working assiduously to ensure the fulfillment of the remainder to ensure improvements in the well-being of the ordinary citizens.

We made a number of promises to Ghanaians, and we are working day and night to fulfill them…we have performed on every sector and there are evidence to prove it... in due time we will come to your studio and go through with you one by one", he stated.

He reiterated that "the promise of 1D 1F is ongoing and Free Senior High School Education, true to our word, it is ongoing; that is a great burden lifted off the shoulders of parents by Nana Akufo-Addo’s government…NDC is not aware of what is happening on the ground because they don’t travel… they should travel and see,” he urged them.

Nana B again revealed that under NDC’s regime they awarded contract to the tune of 5.2 billion for only road and 4 billion on housing and with huge sums of debt on the E-blocks; stressing that he is always shock to hear NDC accusing NPP for not adding infrastructure to Ghana’s Educational system.

NDC left debt to the tune of 5.2 billion on roads, 4 billion on houses which were never paid and not forgetting the E-Blocks debt…they left a huge sums of loan before leaving office and in my opinion it will not be fair to leave the E-block debtors and signed new contracts with different contractors…what will be the benefit of the country to build another E-blocks where by those debts have not been paid  and still go and incur another cost for the state?” he quizzed.

He disclosed that "the NDC government between 2016 and 2017 through the GetFund, signed cheque to the tune of 700 million…they were owning contracts since 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and now all these debts have been paid off.

He therefore showered praises on president Nana Akufo-Addo for what he is doing in the life of Ghanaians saying “we are delivering on our promises”.
