“The Blood Of Jesus Is Most Significant To Christians” – Rev Eastwood Anaba

Reverend Eastwood Anaba, the President of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM) has said the blood of Jesus Christ is the currency that purchased the souls of humankind from the bondage of sin.

According to him, no amount of gold, or currency in the world could purchase the grace and salvation for humankind, especially what Christian enjoyed today.

“The blood of Jesus is most significant to Christians because that is the currency with which Jesus Christ purchased the souls of humankind from the bondage of sin and the devil.”

Reverend Anaba who is the Senior Pastor at Desert Pastures, a branch of Fountain Gate Chapel (FGC) in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional capital, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), prior to his sermon at an ongoing Easter convention of the church dubbed “International Xtra Oil 2019.”

He said Jesus Christ knew no sin, and was the most popular element who ever walked on the surface of the world, died for everybody, brought the whole world together, through the cross on which He died, which became the point of unity.

“I pray in the name of Jesus that you will not allow your personal pain and inconvenience into your family, your business, your ministry, Ghana and the world together. No more polarization, no division; just one people” he said.

The Senior Pastor and Reverend Clement Anchebah, Chairman of FGC are the main speakers of the five-day convention, which brought together members of the church within Ghana and beyond to worship.

This year’s annual convention is on the theme: “Purpose.”

When the GNA visited the Regional Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) hall, where members of the Assemblies of God (AG) churches in the Bolgatanga Municipality had gathered for Easter convention, Reverend Dr Lazarus Apambila Akaburi, Senior Pastor of the Redemption Centre of the AG church, in a sermon urged Christians to emulate the examples of Jesus Christ.

“As a church, as a body of Christ, we must also follow the steps of Christ by being humble and obedient. We need to care about each other and love one another. If we love one another with the mind of Christ, that is the only way we can make it.”

He called on members of the church to desist from selfishness and greed, but show love and care to each other, live together to the glory of God, and stressed that “Jesus is coming back for His people.”

The convention, which is on the theme: “Bearing the fruit of the spirit” has other speakers such as Reverend Dominic Ziba, the Upper East Regional Superintendent of the AG church, Reverend Dr Emmanuel Atia, Senior Pastor of the Victory AG church, and Reverend Rockson Jambeidu, the Host District Pastor.
