Saglemi Project: Gov't Should Accept Their Mistake And Do The Right Thing

Communications team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed has described the ruling government as selfish for not completing the Saglemi Housing Project after being in government for two years.

The selfishness he explained is because they [NPP] have not yet embarked on any of such affordable housing projects so they are scared the NDC will be praised for bringing it on board.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ panel discussion segment, the NDC communicator revealed government is at fault and should not hesitate in accepting the fact for intentionally halting the Saglemi project.

He said six hundred to thousand housing units of the first phase out of the estimated three phases were completed under Mahama’s regime before they took over government.

“Government of the day should accept the fault of not operating the affordable housing project and apologize for wasting state resources  . . . “ he said.

Nasiru Mohammed called on government to prosecute and punish whoever they claim has not operated lawfully.
