An aspiring NPP Member of Parliament [MP] for Anyaa - Sowutuom Constituency, Edna Sackey, has organized a health screening exercise for the people of her municipality over the weekend at the Odorgonno Senior High School.

The exercise was sponsored by her NGO, ‘Edna Sackey Foundation’ – their aim is to provide quality healthcare delivery to all.

The exercise saw residents trooping to the screening centers with massive attendance.    

The beneficiaries were screened of various ailments including diabetes, malaria, blood pressure and eye tests – some also had the opportunity to renew their National Health Insurance Cards free of charge.

Edna Sackey and her aids also distributed free books and bags to school children who patronized the exercise.

Speaking to journalists, Edna Sackey said the exercise was based on recent rising cases of diabetes, malaria and blood pressure in the constituency – and her passion to help the needy and less privileged at all times.
