The National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B says the Director General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah should be bold in executing her duties in accordance with the laws of the land.

According to him, the CID boss does not deserve all the insult and backlash hurled at her from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their supporters.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, Nana B emphatically stated that the leaked tape of Chairman Ofosu Ampofo was not doctored and that whatever said on that tape was politically motivated,” Nana B said.

He added that the Police have every right to arrest Mr. Ofosu Ampofo. 

He continued; “My problem here is the way the NDC has been backlashing the CID boss for nothing…Maame Tiwaa has not done anything wrong to the NDC…She is just doing her official duties so it is not right for the NDC to continue to tarnish her image as if she has committed a crime”.
