Flu Virus Hits Bayern Munich Camp

Bayern Munichs preparations for Saturdays Bundesliga encounter against Borussia Dortmund have been hampered due to a flu virus being spread around the camp, the Leagues official website has reported. Worse still for FC Hollywood is that they have a vital Champions League first leg encounter against Fiorentina to come next week. We have a virus in the dressing room. That is not good news ahead of the tough weeks and the upcoming matches against Dortmund and Fiorentina, coach Louis van Gaal lamented. Daniel van Buyten, Hans-Joerg Butt, Ivica Olic, Danijel Pranjic and Andreas Goerlitz all suffered from the virus prior to the 6-2 DFB Pokal success over Greuther Furth, though the Dutch coach has indicated that he believes there will be more cases to come. In order to arrest the spread of the virus, FCB have essentially quarantined their sick players away from the healthy ones, setting up two different training schedules in order to keep their staff as fit as possible ahead of a vital week.
