NDC Is Pick-Pocketing Ghanaians! Ntim

A leading contender in race for the Chairmanship slot of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Ntim, has said that the evidence is abundant and clear that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is picking the pockets of Ghanaians. He has said that since the NDC assumed the reigns of government it has done nothing but compound the hardships of Ghanaians. Mr. Ntim expressed these sentiments in an interview with the Daily Searchlight last week as part of an extensive interview. Asked about his views on how Ghanaians are faring, Mr. Ntim said that it has been hellish for the majority of the ordinary Ghanaian because taxes are going up. The tax holidays or educations that the previous government gave to the importation and other staples have all been brought back by the NDC! Tolls on vehicles have been increased in hundred folds and all the hikes of fuel even though they promised during their campaign that they were going to reduce it drastically, but they have increased it drastically. This is a dichotomy. I would say the NDC has resorted to pick-pocketing on the ordinary Ghanaian as against their promise that they were going to put money into peoples pockets, Mr. Ntim said. They promised but rather they are taking money from the pockets of the ordinary Ghanaian and that is hellish, he concluded.
