What was obviously a well-orchestrated attack by members of the �Castle�s Don King� gang was rolled out during the weekend when Kwesi Pratt Jnr., Managing Editor of the Insight and Raymond archer, Editor-in-Chief of The Enquirer launched a two-prong attack on Former President Rawlings who is also the Founder of the NDC. While Kwesi Pratt was on Radio Gold�s Alhaji & Alhaji programme shouting himself hoarse about Rawlings, Raymond Archer was on Joy fm�s Newsfile programme, inflicting his ignorance on undiscerning Ghanaians. Kwesi Pratt was backed on the Radio Gold programme by text messages sent by people hurt that Rawlings had described them as �greedy bastards�. They used various names to represent senders of the text messages to get unsuspecting listeners to believe that the text messages were coming from members of the public. In his contribution on Rawlings� recent comments at his residence during an NDC meeting. The Insight�s Managing Editor claimed that after listening to tapes of what Rawlings said at the family meeting he was left in no doubt that the former President is suffering from �Messianic delusions and unbridled arrogance.� Mr Pratt also claimed that Rawlings never wanted Prof Mills to become President and thus sent him, Kwesi, a text message urging that Mills be removed as flagbearer of the NDC. He also claimed that Ato Ahwoi told him that Rawlings phoned him to tell him to contest the flagbearership against Mills, an advise, he, Ato Ahwoi, turned down. Kwesi Pratt dared Mr Ato Ahwoi and others to also come public and stand up to Ex-President Rawlings. Mr Pratt cautioned NPP supporters who he claimed were over-excited at Rawlings� comments to think twice and present credible alternative policies that will show they are a better alternative because if they will make Ex-President Rawlings� statement their gospel, then they should bear in mind that in that same statement Ex-President Rawlings described the NPP as a bunch of thieves who still have intact their looting machinery.
