Prez Akufo-Addo Is A Covenant Keeping President & A Promise Keeper - Nana B Tells Goaso Nursing Students

The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B as part of his working visit to the newly created regions; Bono, Bono - East and Ahafo visited and interacted with the Goaso Nursing Training College to assure them of the commitment of President Akufo-Addo to improve nursing education.

According to him "His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a covenant-keeping President who is working hard to meet the expectations of every Ghanaian...trust him because he will deliver."

In 2014, the government of former President John Mahama cancelled the payment of all allowances, including nursing trainees’, with the then President saying he wouldn’t mind losing an election over it.

The scrapping of the allowances was met with grave disapproval by the Nursing trainees, leading to then-candidate Nana Akufo-Addo promising during the 2016 campaign to restore it if he wins, a promised he has fulfilled…the president is always working hard to satisfy your needs,” he said.

Nana B further revealed to the students that many are the promises the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led government has delivered…“a tall list of promises made and Promises delivered can be mentioned which includes the Introduction of Free SHS; Reduction in Electricity Tariffs, Solidifying the Economic Fundamentals;

The RTI Act, one district one factory, one village one dam, Zongo Development Fund, Nabco, creation of 6 regions,1 million USD per Constituency, Various Tax reductions, Port Reforms, Financial sector stability programs among many others are amongst the many promises delivered by the Akufo Addo government, he added

The NPP youth leader also took the opportunity to call on students including all Ghanaians to support the initiatives put forward by NPP Government that has the welfare of the people at heart.

Present at this meeting were the Regional Minister Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, Chairman Jerry and his entire regional executives as well as the 1st vice chairman of the Asunafo North Constituency.
