Another Kidnap – BECE Candidate Reported Missing

Ghanaians are waiting for the return of the #TaadiGirls who were kidnapped months ago.

People are in anticipation for the media to break the good news of their whereabout, but bad news keep coming.

According to report, a young man called Valerian Osei-Nyarko who is a BECE candidate has gone missing in Koforidua following his visit to his father.

In an interview on Takoradi based Connect FM, father of the young boy revealed his son visited him but was supposed to return to Kumasi on Saturday to sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination on Monday which unfortunately couldn’t happen.

“He came to visit me on Thursday, May 30. On Saturday, I personally accompanied him to the co-operative station at about 1:30pm and bought a ticket of a Kumasi bound bus for him and I left,” Mr Osei-Nyarko recounted.

According to the father, Joseph Osei-Nyarko, he personality escorted his son to the Koforidua lorry station and boarded a bus for him before he left to the house.

However, when he called in the evening if his son had reach, he got the sad news of his missing.

According to the father, he quickly began a search for his son but to no avail.

He mentioned he was told at the station that his son got down before the bus was full, but they waited for him to return for the car to take off, but he never did.

“We were told at the lorry station at Koforidua that the boy got down from the bus but when it became full and was taking off, they waited but he didn’t show up,” he said.

The case has since been reported to the police for investigation.
