Worlanyo K. Agra, Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council has launched Ghanas first ever national table tennis model teams weekend training camp at the D. G. The training camp is the brain child of the Ghana Table Tennis Associations SWAG Special Award Wining Secretary General and a Principal Sports Development Officer of the National Sports Council, Kwame Amponfi Jnr. At the launching, Mr. Agra commended the Ghana Table Tennis Association for the initiative and promised the Council and the Sports Ministrys continued support for such progressive training programmes. This, he said, is to make the nations under 15, 18 and Senior table tennis nucleus teams stay active throughout the year and to be battle-ready for all future international competitions. The Sports Council CEO appealed to companies and philanthropists to join the supporting sponsors of the programme; Samuel Tobin, CEO of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals, J. A. Biney & Co.
