Information available to Peacefmonline.com indicates the former Deputy Gender and Social Protection Minister, Rachel Appoh has withdrawn a court case against TV Presenter, Valentina Nana Akua Agyeiwaa popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger from the Accra High Court citing personal reasons.

Deep sources and an interview with the former MP discloses that counsel from top politicians, the clergy, family and close friends have impressed upon her to let sleeping dogs lie.

Some concerned members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Gomoa Central Constituency, had earlier registered their strong displeasure against Afia Schwarzenegger, formerly of TV Africa, to desist from acts of denegrading the personality of Rachel Appoh, former MP for Gomoa Central Constituency in the Central Region.

According to the group their attention has been drawn to stories circulating on social media platforms and some main stream websites attributed to Afia Schwarzenegger accusing the former MP of dating one Elikem Kumordzi.

"Since we know how decent our former MP is and has emphatically denied the allegations, we therefore ask Afia to come out and render an unqualified apology to Hon Appoh to let a sleeping dog lay peacefully," the statement read.

From our sources a full conversation intercepted between Rachel Appoh and Afia Schwarzenegger from 2013 till date from their network providers affirms that the two have never had any chat about any relationship with Elikem Kumordzi.

This fact after mulling also contributed to the withdrwal of the case.
