Before ghanacelebrities.com interview with Ghanaian musician-Becca’s mother-Madam Juliana Oti aired on Saturday, the two had a chit chat during which Becca’s mother mentioned that Tobi actually texted her to inform her that Becca has asked him to go and ask for her hand in marriage (knocking).

According to Becca’s mother, Tobi stated that Becca has asked, sort of begged him to go and perform “knocking”—with this in itself being disrespectful, as far as our African culture is concerned.

In Africa, a man who loves a woman and intends to marry her willingly decides to go and knock, and it’s not the woman who asks or begs the man to do so.

But for Tobi and Becca, Tobi reportedly said he was asked by Becca do it—which leads to the question, who even paid for it all then?
