I love my mum; don't disrespect her – Becca to Ghanaians

Musician Becca has appealed to the Ghanaians to cease fire regarding the ongoing misunderstanding between her mother, Juliana Oti, and husband, Dr. Oluwatobi Sanni Daniel.

Speaking on the issue, African Woman’ hitmaker stated she felt it wasn’t right to discuss her mother on a media platform but was quick to add that “I would like everybody to respect her at this time. I know this is a family matter and it’s definitely going to be solved at home”.

The ‘Da ke Daa’ hit maker who was on Hitz Fm’s ‘Day Break’ to promote her new single noted that although she has not had the opportunity to speak with her mother after the latter’s interview with Chris Vincent, she will make time to resolve the matter.

Becca who initially avoided speaking on the issue was drawn to tears when one of the show’s panellists, Ernest Ennin urged her to address it.

She professed her undying love for her mother.

“I love my mum, honestly I do. I think she knows I do. It’s unfortunate things have to come on a platform like that; which is sad. But we will deal with the issue at home.”

She added she has a cordial relationship with her mother and she has no plans of disrespecting her.

Praising her husband, she described him as an affable person with a good heart. According to the ‘I Love You’ singer many do not know much about her “relatable” husband hence the conclusion he is disrespectful and arrogant.

In his defence she reiterated that, “My husband is very very responsible and respectful. He is very cordial when you indulge him in a conversation”.

The mother of one averred that there is no family that doesn’t have its own issue. However, it’s rather unfortunate that hers escalated as a result of her celebrity status.
