Those of us who consider ourselves to be politically astute and are conversant with the modus operandi of the Rawlngs' without a sniff of a doubt knew who suspect numero uno was.
But the question became why he did it. Folks I know many have pontificated and theorized on this enigmatic subject and seems to come up with reasons deemed plausible. Then again the question became what is believable out of the plausibles.
Rawlings residence was an antiquated abode located in a very posh neighborhood. And although the rawlings' have held it captive approximating 30 years could not call it their house since it was state owned.
Now with NDC in power, in the advent of a booming real estate (with mansions that surpasses Hollywood) coupled with the fact that the Rawlings' have millions of dollars at their disposal I believe he burnt the house to have the land so he can build a state of the art mansion . Should that happen please be advised no one will be able to deny him of ownership although the land still remains state property. It's all about the land, the neighborhood and millions of stolen money.
Rawlings will play subterfuge by rasing funds to rebuild, when that happens, know sophistry and obfuscation is at work. We will not be naive, we will not be credulous and will not be ignorant of his devises.
